Grains of development: a seed factory
VAL UNION BFC SEMENCES - Bèze (Côte-d’Or)
VAL UNION BFC SEEDS wanted to build a straw cereal seed (all types) processing factory. The CTC design office carried out the requirements analysis: capacity, storage, cleaning and process diagrams. CERES Agro-industrie teams were asked to build the technical plans for CTC and for process handling.
We took charge of the analysis, equipment manufacture and erection on site. We produced the installation plans for the major trades: civil engineering, steel structure, cells, electricity and automation.
The project consisted of:
> 20 x 200 m3 cells
> automatic lift emptying
> a storage line with a rotary lump breaker
> a 25 t/h return feed to the existing calibration/cleaning tower
> a 100 t/h cereal seed reception line
The tight deadlines also made this project more complex: the order was validated at the end of 2015 and was completed in June 2016.
